TO OUTLAW VIOLENCE AGAINST EMERGENCY WORKERS
Thurrock MP Andrew Mackinlay is backing the Private Members Bill to outlaw
attacks on emergency service workers. The Bill makes it a specific offence
to assault, obstruct or hinder emergency workers such as paramedics, ambulance
and fire crews, similar measures were recently introduces in Scotland....

HIGH LEVEL TALKS ON HEALTH
Thurrock MP Andrew Mackinlay held high level talks with Health Secretary
John Reid about NHS facilities for Thurrock. Speaking
after the meeting, which he had requested, Andrew Mackinlay said: - “We
had a very productive and a very positive meeting. I pressed John Reid on
a number of local health issues including GP’s, Dentistry, and the
planned expansion of the Borough. I voiced the genuine concerns my constituents
have about the future and reminded him of the impact of the Thames Gateway
